Sublify
Cookie Policy
Last updated: May 10, 2026
This page explains which cookies and similar technologies Sublify uses, what they are used for, and how you can manage them.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device (computer, smartphone, tablet) when visiting a website. It allows the site to remember certain information about you — for example your preferred language, your login status, or analytics data on your browsing.
Sublify also uses similar technologies such as the browser's localStorage and sessionStorage, which work similarly to cookies but are not transmitted with each request.
2. Categories of cookies used
2.1 Strictly necessary cookies (always active)
These cookies are essential for the operation of the Service. They do not require your consent as they are essential to provide you with the service you request.
| Cookie / Data | Purpose | Duration |
| Authentication (Supabase session) | Maintain your connection to your account | Session or until logout |
| CSRF token | Protection against CSRF attacks | Session |
| sublify_locale (localStorage) | Remember your language choice (FR/EN) | Persistent |
| sublify_cookie_consent (localStorage) | Remember your cookie preferences | Persistent |
2.2 Payment cookies (Stripe)
When purchasing a credit pack, you are redirected to the Stripe payment service, which uses its own cookies to secure the transaction and prevent fraud. These cookies are strictly necessary for payment security and do not require separate consent.
For more information on Stripe cookies, see Stripe's privacy policy.
2.3 Audience measurement cookies (with consent)
Sublify uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how users navigate the site and improve the Service. These cookies are placed only with your explicit consent.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
| _ga | Distinguish unique users | 2 years |
| _ga_* | Session state persistence | 2 years |
| _gid | Distinguish users | 24 hours |
Data collected by Google Analytics is anonymized and does not allow direct identification. Google may transfer this information to third parties in case of legal obligation.
3. How to manage your cookies
3.1 On Sublify
On your first visit, a consent banner allows you to accept or reject audience measurement cookies. You can change your choice at any time by clicking the button below:
4. Retention of consent data
Your choice regarding cookies (accept, reject or customize) is stored in your browser via localStorage for 13 months, in accordance with the CNIL recommendation. Beyond that, the consent banner will be presented to you again.
5. Your rights
You have the same rights over cookies as over your personal data: access, rectification, erasure, objection. To exercise these rights or for any questions about this cookie policy, contact us at contact@sublify.io.
For more information on the protection of your personal data, see our Privacy Policy.
6. Modifications to this policy
